I suggest you either (1) contact camcontacts in the ccMail and ask them how you can open your room, or (2) enter the Chathost Only Forum and ask your colleagues. Someone will be able to help you, I'm sure.

If you mean you don't know how to begin a session.. Your profile isn't visible yet and I'm assuming that's because you haven't finished your registration process. Once you finish filling out the necessary information, you should be able to click on "start session". Hope you've figured it out by now.

I've seen a couple of explanations as to why the forums have lost their "luster" as someone put it recently. (1) the requiring of screennames to be displayed when posting, rather than pseudonyms; (2) the conflicts that have sometimes raged between hosts and other hosts, or between hosts and members, or members with members.
Perhaps it isn't either of these. Maybe it's just the change in clientele, or the interest people have in participating in the forums. Maybe that's all that's changed -- not because of any particular problem, but because it's like other areas of life, people's interests change, people change.. Maybe no one or no one thing is to blame. Maybe it's just the way it is.
Just some food for thought.

All good points. If memory serves me well (and in the spirit of full disclosure it may not :)), the relative demise of this forum seemed to coincide with the death of fake names. Of course almost all of us use fake names in cc anyway...so I guess it really seems to coincide with the inability of people who wish to post to create another fake name so people would not recognize our CC nicknames. Did I say that right? You may need to read that again and again before you just say screw it and go visit your favorites list. Anyway....it is like blogs in general. Anonymity gives permission for people to say some pretty outlandish, stupid and offensive things....and say what you will...it did bring life to this forum. It is yet another manifestation of what some have termed, "internet disinhibition effect." The online disinhibition effect is the reduction or abandonment of social restrictions and inhibitions found in normal face-to-face communication when using remote electronic communications.

fake names? I saw one starting a thread but I knew his 'real' CC name. I also know the poster's real real name in real. My mother never had me christened as allyoop. I just don't understand the fake names debate. Enlightenment please.

Surely you remember when you could sign a post with any name you chose, not just your screen name. You could even have a running argument with yourself using different names but with the same screen name. That is what "Mouse" is referring to.

You can still open other accounts with other screen names. You just can't invent a name on the fly when you post. Or I am missing something.

I really don't know. What is the point? CC can stop any forum post from appearing and will know exactly who it is.

I would say people are not more busy now than 20 years ago. But there are many more options to spend your time. Perhaps one factor is the prevalence of social apps. People spend more time on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, VK, and whatever else passes for social interaction and don't seek it here as much.

The one who turned me off to comm chat, at least from the members, was John (can't remember his actual moniker) He was the rudest, most arrogant (expletive deleted) person I ever encountered in comm chat. Certain hosts ran close behind.

The requirement to use actual names may be one factor but I also think CC started to moderate the forum and limit topics to those directly connected to CC. This big debates/conflicts in the past that made the forum interesting were on events and things happening around the World. The big personalities no longer post here.

They know only what you tell them about yourself. They do not know your IP address, they do not know if you have visited them with other screennames, or what other hosts you have visited (Unless, of course, they are studio hosts and you have visited others in the studio and assuming the hosts have compared notes.) However, hosts are encouraged to keep notes on members: likes, dislikes, impressions, and any other information you have shared with them. This is one reason I like CamContacts, because unlike some other sites, they respect the viewer.s privacy -- and the host's too.

Dear first of all you have to reed the rules for category Girla at home little shy. there is typing that she can show you something if you will be gently with her and if she wants to show you. she is in soft adult category and she can choose. Second all members here could write first in free chat and ask about what they want. Use this option for future.

Little shy is adult SOFTCORE category, and it is u who have chosen the wrong category, not the host. There is no guarantee in Glamour or Little shy that u will see some "skin", these 2 categories give hosts relative freedom. If they dont feel comfortable or dont feel a certain connection with u-they have every right now to undress. And it doesnt matter how polite or nice u are, sometimes its just not working. CC is a great site, and there are categories for every type of member and hosts. If u dont wanna be disappointed-choose adult HARDCORE, its very simple.

I guess the problem is not the host. it's with you. You may be the most polite guy in the world, and probably are; you may be willing to spend a good amount in pay chat, but in the end it's the host's decision. there are no guarantees in Little Shy It all depends on how she feels. Either you didn't read, or didn't understand, or didn't accept the category description. But it is what it is. So don't get mad at the host. Just move to a category where you are guaranteed a show.

Curious what the difference is between the two..? I thought that adding a favorite meant you got alerted when they logged on, is there something more or different that happens with setting an alert? Thanks

They are separate features. Adding a host as a favorite means she appears on your username's list of favorites. Setting an alert means when she comes online you get an email notification.
She doesn't have to be on your favorites list for you to set an alert. Likewise, only if you set the alert will you be notified that a favorite host is online.

If you have an alert set.. does it alert only when a host logs on or does it also alert you when they "unpause" their session? Are you able to see when we have sessions paused or does it just appear as if we are offline?
Similarly.. are you alerted when a host goes from being busy in a session to being free again?
